Join us  as we begin National Child Abuse Prevention Month this April and our Go Blue 4 Kids Awareness Campaign.

This year's dynamic speaker is Jenna Quinn-- the "Voice for the Voiceless"

Jenna Quinn is a triumphant survivor of sexual abuse, author, speaker, and the survivor behind Jenna's Law.  She has become a valiant warrior against sexual abuse of children and adolescents.  After disclosing of the abuse she has been on a campaign ever since to spare others her torment.

Jenna has been speaking out as a victor and not a victim traveling nationwide, sharing her story with legislatures, law enforcement, abuse-prevention groups, schools, faith communities, nonprofit organizations, and the general public for over twelve years.  She has participated in both local and national radio, television, and news programs and has dedicated her life to preventing child sexual abuse through education and legislation.

Jenna took political action reaching out to Texas legislators about the need for schools to adopt age-appropriate curriculum on child sexual abuse. In May of 2009, Jenna’s Law passed the Texas State Senate; unanimously making it the first child sexual abuse prevention law in the U.S named after a survivor mandating K-12 training for students, all school staff, and parents. Jenna’s Law addresses sexual abuse and other forms of maltreatment and was expanded to incorporate child care centers, foster care centers, child placing agencies, and universities. In 2017, Jenna’s Law was amended to include sex trafficking prevention in schools. Over half the country has adopted some form of legislation for their schools.

Jenna will be autographing purchased copies of her newest book,  Pure In Heart: A Memoir of Overcoming Abuse and Passing Jenna’s Law following the Go Blue 4 Kids Breakfast.
